Note: This guide is specifically optimized for upgrading from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro and is easy to follow.
Step 1:
Disconnect from the internet! Make sure that your PC is not connected to the internet during the upgrade – neither via LAN nor via Wi-Fi. This is an important step for a successful upgrade.
Step 2:
Enter the command « Slui » in the desktop search bar.
Then click on « Run as administrator« .
Tip: You can quickly open the search bar with the key combination « Windows + S ».
Step 3:
In the newly opened window, enter the following generic upgrade key:
Upgrade Key: VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T
Confirm the process by clicking « Next« .
Step 4:
You may receive an error message – in this case, simply click « Close« .
Now reconnect your PC to the internet and restart it.
Despite the error message, the upgrade will be completed during startup.
Congratulations, you have now successfully installed Windows 11 Pro!
Step 5:
Activate your new operating system to use it to its full extent.
